My first job in construction was a material driver for a small electrical company. It was during this time that I discovered I had an interest in electrical work. I began to educate myself on proper building codes and entered an apprenticeship to further my training. I feel fortunate to have been under the guidance of some very talented and successful people in my early years and was inspired to run my own company. Although I’ve been involved in projects in a variety of capacities, I’ve always assisted clients from the perspective of maximizing energy efficiency, which became my motivation to open Energy Care Electric in 2008. I am proud of the energy saving designs and environmentally-friendly materials I was able to obtain and install for my clients.
I partnered with a local General Contractor in 2013 with the desire to expand my knowledge of the construction industry and processes. Through this partnership, I gained valuable experience serving as the company President and Project Manager during all phases of residential construction. At the beginning of 2017, I relaunched and rebranded Energy Care Electric to combine Electrical Contracting and Construction Consultation, broadening the services we can offer to clients.
Since the onset of my career 20 years ago, I have consistently employed current industry standards, while developing a diverse construction background including RRP Certification (Renovation, Repair and Painting), CAPS Certification (Certified Aging in Place Specialist), as well as maintaining an A+ Better Business Bureau rating.
